Day 1 : Delhi to Manali

Assemble in Delhi at 17:00 hrs & board your Volvo bus for Manali. (O/N Bus)
Day 2 : Manali

Reach Manali by morning and check-in to a hotel. On arrival breakfast will be served & later followed by Lunch. In the evening we visit Hadimba Devi temple & Manu Temple which is a part of your acclimatization process one of the most important things for a high altitude journey. Overnight in Manali.
Day 3 : Manali to Jispa

Leave Manali early morning after breakfast. Experience the dramatic change as you cross the Rohtang pass(13050 ft.) and enter Lahual valley. Lunch at Sissu village. Reach Jispa in the evening at tea time. (O/N in Jispa)
Day 4 : Jispa To Leh

Early in the morning we start our onward journey over Baralach La ( 16,500 ft) & Lachulung La (16,617 ft.) and reach Pang for Lunch, En route you can capture the incredible, ever-changing, cold desert scenery. Driving along the Indus River, crossing Tanglang La (17,585 ft.) one reaches Leh. (O/N - Leh)

Day 5 : Leh to Alchi

Rest in the morning & after lunch we drive to Alchi en-route we visit Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, 800 years old Alchi Monastery & Rizong Monastery before we check into our campsite. (O/N in Alchi)
Day 6 : Alchi to Leh

After breakfast we drive to the Rafting spot with packed lunch. White Water Rafting at Indus or Zanskar River. Then we drive to Leh, evening free for shopping. (O/N - Leh)
Day 7 : Leh to Nubra Valley

After breakfast Leave for Nubra valley via Khardung La (Highest Motor able Road on Planet Earth). Reach Nubra Valley for lunch, explore Deskit and Hunder villages for rest of the day. Here's where you can enjoy two-humped camel safari on sand dunes. (O/N -Nubra)
Day 8 : Nubra to Leh

After breakfast leave for Leh. Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Fort on the way. (O/N - Leh)
Day 9 : Leh - Pangong Tso - Leh

Leave for Pangong Tso through Chang La (17,350 ft), one of the highlights of the Ladakh Experience on the Indo-Tibetan border. Pangong Lake lies at a altitude of 14,500ft, with blue-green shades of tranquil brackish water and surrounded on all sides by snow-capped high mountains. In the evening return to Leh (O/N  - Leh)

Day 10 : Leh

After breakfast, airport transfer will be arranged for your onward flight
Manali / Leh / Alchi / Pangong Tso Lake / Khardung La / Nubra Valley.

- 1 White Water Rafting run on Indus or Zanskar river (subject to change depending on the prevailing weather / water conditions)

- Volvo bus from Delhi to Manali.


- Innova / Xylo / Scorpio or Tempo Traveller depending on the group size from Manali to Leh & for all road journeys.

2. Expenses of personal nature such as phone calls, outside eatables, drinks (Mineral Water, Aerated /Alcohol Drinks), laundry, tips, etc.


3. Cost of any form of insurance, rescue, evacuation, hospitalization, etc.


4. Any change in the itinerary, stay on account of flight/ train cancellation due to bad weather, ill health and road block etc... factors which are beyond our control.


5. Any other expense not mentioned in the 'cost includes' column.

Other Basic points to keep in mind for an enjoyable trip

  • Nature is fun to explore but not a toy to exploit. Respect its harmony and maintain the balance needed to retain its beauty and treasures. Please abide the specific guidelines we share with you on the trip.
  • This trip is not a regular excursion / exercise with family and friends. It unlocks the wonderful world of nature and brings its magic alive. Do choose the trip to be nature’s special guest.
  • Like all outdoor trips, this one requires basic fitness. Also, you will be responsible for taking care of your personal belongings.
  • Your experience of the trip depends on a lot of factors like the climatic conditions, your health conditions and the overall physical terrain.


Disclosures on medical conditions


  • It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer from any illness of any kind. Please disclose any medical condition / history to the organizers of the trip so that the best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval.
  • As organizers of the trip, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. The medical expenses will have to be borne by the patrons themselves.


Payment, refund and cancellation terms


  • Eligibility for this Outdoor trip is 12 years, however for some adventures the age criteria may differ kindly check before you enrol yourself or children
  • We do not have a child rate for our trips unless mentioned.
  • We will try our best to follow the itinerary of the trip shared with you but bear in mind those factors out of our control that may change the schedule.
  • You will be required to make the full payment at the time you confirm your enrolment for the trip.
  • In case you opt for cancellation, no requests for transfer or postponement will be considered.
  • The refund you will be entitled to will strictly follow the time schedule below.

-   You get a 50% refund, if your cancellation reaches us more than 30 days prior to departure.

-   You get a 25% refund, if your cancellation reaches us 15-29 days prior to departure.

-   You get no refund, if your cancellation reaches us only 15 or less days prior to departure.

  • Please note that ‘The Nomadic Quest’ reserves the right of refusal and the right to cancel any booking (for example when the basic feasible quota of people required has not been met). In such an event, as a participant you will be entitled to a refund.
  • In the event of uncontrollable factors like landslides, avalanche, civil strife, war, transportation delays, etc, it will not be possible to issue refunds but we will surely take all necessary steps to assist you in the situation.
  • The cost mentioned above is for Indian citizens. Foreigners / NRIs will need to pay extra if and as applicable.
