Day 1 :

Assemble at BPCL building, 10 Janpat Street in Delhi at 17:30 hrs & board your bus for Manali. Overnight bus journey.
Day 2 :

Arrive in Manali, in the morning & pick will be arranged to drop us to our hotel. On arrival breakfast will be served & later followed by Lunch. In the evening we visit Hadimba Devi temple & Manu Temple. Overnight at hotel in Manali.
Day 3 :

Today we drive to Solang, where you can enjoy Paragliding, Zorbing etc... Lunch at hotel in Solang & then we drive back to Manali with a stopover at the local market, here you can do a bit of shopping, buy anything necessary for the trek like e.g Poncho (Rain Sheet) locally know as "Barsati", gloves, local woollen socks etc...

 In the evening Introduction with the trekking & camping team, followed by few tips on packing & brief idea about the journey ahead. Overnight at hotel in Manali.

Day 4 :

Early in the morning we leave for Lamadugh with packed lunch. The first day of the trek leads through cool forests of giant Deodar (Cedar), Alder and Oak. The trail ascends gently at first, through the Manalsu valley along Manalsu stream. Extensive views of the Kullu valley appear and slowly fade into the distance as we reach the first campsite in the lush green meadows of Lamadugh. Beautiful views of the surrounding peaks dominate the scene. As one gains height in this steep climb the distinct views of different faces of Indrasan, Deo Tibba and peaks of Bara Shigri glacier open up. At the last part the path turns to the right and you have to traverse the ridge horizontally and enter into an alpine plateau studded with thick growth of alpine flowers. The campsite is ideally located.  Approximately we should reach he campsite by late afternoon. Overnight at camp in Lamadugh. (3380 meters)
Day 5 :

Early in the morning after breakfast we leave for our next camp with packed lunch. Now the trail ascends steeply through woodland and meadows with wild alpine flowers strewn all around. On the way brilliant shrubs of rhododendron and birch pave the way to the ridge after which you get to the camp site. Have our lunch and the we go on a short exploration trip around our campsite. Overnight at camp in Khenpri Ruar (3658 meters)
Day 6 :

Today our trek takes us to the highest point & also to one of the highlights of the trek “Khenpri Tibba” (4025 meters) surrounded by good views of Indrasan (6221m), Deo Tibba (6001m), Hanuman Tibba (5928m). Then we descend to Rani Sue Lake. This is one of the sacred lakes & this is the place from where one can have a 360 degree view of the Himalayan ranges. After which we trek back to camp. Overnight at camp in Khenpri Ruar. (3658 meters).
Day 7 :

After breakfast we leave for Manali. This will be the last day of the trek and we will be descending from Lamadugh towards Manali. Lunch at hotel on arrival. Overnight at hotel in Manali.
Day 8 :

After breakfast time for some last minute shopping & then board your bus for Delhi. Overnight bus journey.
Day 9 :

Arrive in Delhi in the morning approx 08:30 hrs & start your onward journey back home with a backpack full of memories.

- Volvo bus from Delhi to Manali & back.

 

- Jeep / Sumo from Manali to Manali for all road journeys besides trekking days.

Exclusion

1. Any kind of train fare.

 

2. Paragliding, Zorbing or Horse riding cost at Solang.

 

3. Expenses of personal nature such as phone calls, outside eatables, drinks (Mineral Water, Aerated /Alcohol Drinks), laundry, tips, etc.

 

4. Cost of any form of insurance, rescue, evacuation, hospitalization, etc.

 

5. Any change in the itinerary, stay on account of flight/ train cancellation due to bad weather, ill health and road block etc... factors which are beyond our control.

 

6. Any other expense not mentioned in the 'cost includes' column.

Basic points to keep in mind for an enjoyable trip

  • Nature is fun to explore but not a toy to exploit. Respect its harmony and maintain the balance needed to retain its beauty and treasures. Please abide the specific guidelines we share with you on the trip.
  • This trip is not a regular excursion / exercise with family and friends. It unlocks the wonderful world of nature and brings its magic alive. Do choose the trip to be nature’s special guest.
  • Like all outdoor trips, this one requires basic fitness. Also, you will be responsible for taking care of your personal belongings.
  • Your experience of the trip depends on a lot of factors like the climatic conditions, your health conditions and the overall physical terrain.

 

Disclosures on medical conditions

 

  • It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer from any illness of any kind. Please disclose any medical condition / history to the organizers of the trip so that the best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval.
  • As organizers of the trip, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. The medical expenses will have to be borne by the patrons themselves.

Payment, refund and cancellation terms

 

  • Eligibility for this Outdoor trip is 12 years, however for some adventures the age criteria may differ kindly check before you enrol yourself or children
  • We do not have a child rate for our trips unless mentioned.
  • We will try out best to follow the itinerary of the trip shared with you but bear in mind those factors out of our control that may change the schedule.
  • You will be required to make the full payment at the time you confirm your enrolment for the trip.
  • In case you opt for cancellation, no requests for transfer or postponement will be considered.
  • The refund you will be entitled to will strictly follow the time schedule below.

-   You get a 50% refund, if your cancellation reaches us more than 30 days prior to departure.

-   You get a 25% refund, if your cancellation reaches us 15-29 days prior to departure.

-   You get no refund, if your cancellation reaches us only 15 or less days prior to departure.

  • Please note that ‘The Nomadic Quest’ reserves the right of refusal and the right to cancel any booking (for example when the basic feasible quota of people required has not been met). In such an event, as a participant you will be entitled to a refund.
  • In the event of uncontrollable factors like landslides, avalanche, civil strife, war, transportation delays, etc, it will not be possible to issue refunds but we will surely take all necessary steps to assist you in the situation.
  • The cost mentioned above is for Indian citizens. Foreigners / NRIs will need to pay extra if and as applicable.
